A technique of Ballet in which a ballet dancer supports all body weight on the tips of fully extended feet within Pointe shoes

A dance style that blends ballet and jazz dance. Lyrical is generally smoother and a bit faster that ballet, but mot quite as fast as jazz. A lyrical dancer uses movement to express strong emotions such as love, joy and anger. Powerful, expressive songs are often used in lyrical dance to give dancers a chance to express strong emotions through their dancing. Movements are much more fluid and graceful.

A vibrant form of dance that combines a variety of freestyle movements to create a peace of art through its main sales of popping, locking, and breaking.

For those students who love both forms of dance, but don’t have time for multiple classes, this class is for you. Learn all of the updated moves as seen on music videos. Plus, learn all the fun of jazz with leaps, turns and floor work, increasing flexibility, coordination, timing, musical awareness, and strength.

A style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements. Unlike the strict, structured nature of ballet, contemporary is much more fluid and open to interpretation. This style focuses on the floorwork, using gravity to pull them down to the floor. This dance is mostly done in bare feet.
